Dr. Aval Pakir Jainulabudeen Abdul Kalam Known as Missile Man of India 2nd Death Anniversary is on 27th July. The eleventh President of India who led many high technology missions had taken the country on the path of self-reliance with home-grown technologies.
He was born on 15 October 1931 in Tamil Muslim family at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu State. His father Jainulabudeen was a boat owner and part-time imam at a local mosque. His mother Ashiamma was a caring homemaker. Kalam was popularly known as “the People’s President” and “Missile Man of India”. He does his services to India as 11thPresident of India from 2002 to 2007.the 14th President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, newly arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the nation, on Thursday, remembered one of his most celebrated predecessors, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, on the occasion of the 11th President’s second death anniversary.
On a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial in the latter’s hometown of Rameswaram, a number of people have taken to social media to pay their tributes to the Missile Man of India.
